With some older television sets, this may cause the picture to be distorted or in black and white. To properly display adult DVDs, your television set must be capable of accepting an NTSC signal (check your television documentation), or, your DVD player must be capable of outputting a PAL signal for your television. Most DVD players have this capability (check your DVD player documentation) and it can usually be set in the options menu of your player.
